Honorary Membership of the Czech Society of Phlebology

On Saturday the 29th of November Dr. med. F.-J. Schingale and Uwe Meyer were appointed by the President Prof. Dr. Jaroslav Strejcek as Honorary Members of the Czech Society of Phlebology. Uwe Meyer received this donation due to his long-term function as Vice President of the ICC – International Compression Club from 2007 to 2022. In addition, for his permanent and active support of the Czech Society of Phlebology for many years. Uwe Meyer gave a lecture about the topic: What is ICC – International Compression Club? Uwe Meyer invited the Members of the Czech Society of Phlebology to support in the future the activities of the ICC and participate in the next ICC Meeting on 8th of May, 2026 in Bremen.

I really mean it from my heart and from many years of professional personal sharing: Uwe Meyer is THE example of professionalism and personal niceness. I’ve had the privilege of interacting with him for more than 10 years, developing educational, scientific and medical projects literally in all continents: not only he demonstrated top notch skills, but also a unique problem-solving ability making him the “go to” person to refer to for accomplishing even the most challenging missions. Whoever will have the great opportunity to work with him I’m sure will find out my words are evidence-based and I’m more than sure will greatly appreciate his professional and personal presence.
